UX conference in Edinburgh – June 2015
The UX Scotland conference is happening in Edinburgh again next month. It’s a great opportunity on the doorstep for anyone involved in user experience design, research and management, and I’m really pleased to be attending again this year.
This will be the third year that the conference has run – again being hosted at Our Dynamic Earth – and I’ve always found it to be a great way to learn about how other organisations integrate UX into their business, as well as hear from speakers at the forefront of the field. This year, I’m particularly looking forward to Dan Saffer’s keynote on microinteractions. There’s also a lightening talk by the Head of UX at the Scottish Government which I expect to be particularly relevant to our work at the University.
Last year saw quite an increase in delegates from the public sector which was great; I even bumped into a few colleagues from Scottish universities.
