Usability testing observation event – 15 December

Join us for another open invite usability testing review workshop, which is showcasing our work with IS Helpline to enhance the online student experience. You’ll see how we’ve improved the website support experience based on our last round of testing, and learn how to run the process for yourself.

As I mentioned in my last post, Head of Operational Services Neil Bruce and I are leading an initiative to enhance the quality and efficiency of IT support to students, and to improve self service capability. Over the course of 2016/17 we are undertaking an iterative cycle of student research and self-service material enhancement, with the focus on issues that cost IS the most in terms of Helpline support overhead.

Join us for our usability review session

We’re running a review session to watch students attempt to fix their own IT problems, and learn where we can make further improvement in the coming weeks.

We’d like you to join us to contribute your perspective, see real students attempting real tasks, and find out how this process works. (It may be something to take back and try in your area too).

WHEN: Thursday 15 December, 13:30 – 16:00
WHERE: Appleton Tower

Book a place at the usability review session on Thursday 15 December
